Annual National Inter School Spelling Contest

Dear Sir / Madam,

The Godavari Alumni Association (GAA) takes pleasure in inviting your school to take part in the 33rd Inter High School and the 17th Inter Primary School English Spelling Contest, 2008.

The Spelling Contest is an annual event that G.A.A. has been organizing for the past 33 years. Being one of the oldest spelling contests in Nepal, it carries in itself a deeply rooted legacy in the Nepali educational sector. The major objective of this spelling contest is to encourage the students to improve their competency in English spelling and vocabulary through interesting and challenging activities. This year we aspire to launch the program out of the valley. The program in Pokhara will be organized by PABSON and the program in Chitwan will be supported by Angels World Alumni Association(AWAA), an alumni of Angels World Secondary School.

Regarding the Spelling Contest, two teams (one high and one primary) from each school will be permitted to enter the contest. Further details regarding the contest will be provided after the submission of the application form. The contest will commence from 1st of June in the Kathmandu Valley and June 22nd for out of the valley Eg. Pokhara and Chitwan.

The registration form and rules and regulations, rounds of the contest can be downloaded from the website. The deadline for the entries is June 20 th for Pokhara.
